They are both entertainers in thier own rights.
Glenn Beck is more of a "people person", then Rush Limbaugh was.
Rush always like to tell you what he thinks, and if you are not in agreement with him, he simply wont have you on the program.
Glen on the other hand, likes to "mix it up" with everyone, and will give you his opinion and welcome other opinions that he can banter with, and clown around with.
I have seen both of thier shows, and I think Glenn Beck is by far the better entertainer, with the many guests he has on his shows. They make the shows.
If I wanted to be preached at, I would watch a religious preacher. They tell me what I want to hear also, like Rush does.
I wish you well..

Rush has the numbers and he has been touted by no less than Don Imus himself as the inventor of modern talk radio, but Beck is making his mark. As to what they have to say, most of it is conjecture and "baiting", that is saying things that will get them noticed and make them appear controversial. When it comes down to it, they are both just guys who have a show that advertisers pay for. Rush himself has says many times rhat he is only an entertainer and doesn't necessarily believe the things he says on air, it's just that he gets more listeners. It would seem that the right wing crowd has to be constantly reminded what to think lest they mess up and accidently support something that is not part of the "true-believer" package. With Rush's recent drug problems and the general opinion that Beck says things that are only half true you would be better off checking out the original. His name was Joe Pyne and he was the creator of the modern "in your face" host. You can out more about him and the type of shows he did at the source site.

Glenn Beck is original and versatile. He surprises me every day I get to listen. He wears his humanity on his sleeve.
I hope he doesn't get burned out. Beck is doing too much: a daily radio show, a daily TV show, plus live tour? Yikes!
I love Rush, but Rush has become predictable.(Maybe because I've listened to Limbaugh for 20+ years!)
