Until 2002, the best selling NOVEL of all time was "Valley of the Dolls" by Jacqueline Susann. After that, it's probably a toss-up between the Da Vinci Code and one of the Harry Potter books.
The Bible is NOT the best selling NOVEL of all time. A NOVEL is a work of fiction.

Probably the biggest selling novel of all time is Any book in the Harry Potter Series, J.K. could buy England righ tnow, shes richer than the queen!

Well, since "the (six books - so far - of) Harry Potter series have sold an estimated 300 million copies worldwide." I'd say that at least one of them has to be the winner. However the Da Vinci Code had sold 40 million even before the movie was released.
