i got an abercrombie hoodie back when it was first warming up (it was a good sale haha)...and i just decided to wear it the other day cause it was cold in my apartment...the receipt is long gone by now...and i just realized that theres a censor tag on it! what am i supposed to do now??? is there any way to get it off?? i'm afraid ink or something will go everywhere...its a really nice shirt too and i dont wanna ruin it. and NO i dont steal...this is like the 3rd time this has happened to me, but the other times i was still at the mall and the thing went off and they removed it for me....i guess it was noisy that day? haha can anyone help???? i love this hoodie... :(

i really dont want to drive all the way to the store...its such a hassel and i just wanted to see if there was any other way first

alright, first off if the tag is round and kind of bulbous, then it is an ink tag. do not attempt removal. if it is longer and kind of thin, then it is nothing but a magnetic tag. now then, unfortunately there isn't an easy way to remove it with out the proper tools. in my unfortunate experiences with lazy clerks forgetting to remove the tag, you have two choices both of which have worked for me. one is to use two paper clips straightened out and inserted into the removal slots and being messed around with until it unlocks. two dismantle with needle nose pliers and a hammer, but only attempt this if it is the long slender tag. hope i could help some.

I work in a place that uses those tags. On the back of it take a VERY strong magnet to round part on the back.....while holding the magnet to the back lighty pull the front. the ink tag should just slide off. =)

If you take it to the store and tell them they didn't remove the tag, and you don't have a receipt, they should still remove it. Just tell the people working there your situation and if they don't remove it, just ask to talk to the manager, and ask the manager to remove it.
