It's simple.

Bush and his gang think they are above the law and above reproach. That everything they do is perfect and proper. Bush himself has said he has never made any mistakes. It's a combination of arrogance and entitlement. Not to mention a bit of megalomania.

The media is obviously biased! Read Ann Coulter's Treason. It's all about that. Of course they liked "it was consensual sex" Clinton. He stood up for everything they believed. Let me tell you this also...we are not losing in Iraq. We are doing the job everyday and making progress. It was the MEDIA that convinced us to pull out of Vietnam and it will be the MEDIA that will take us out of this war. There is no such thing as positive news from MSM(main stream media). It's only gonna be how many deaths there were today, not that Iraqis have had three successful elections, which is great considering we took down one of the most evil dictators since Stalin! Also about how Clinton never went after them...it's true! He was a rapist. Look at the Paula Jones scandal! Not to even mention Monica. Come on dude! BTW, if you can show me one single piece of Bush trashing the news, I may consider it. But as far as I know, he has done no worse than any other president. Freedom of speech. Of course someone will disagree with you on everything. But these people (MSM) ARE biased and there is NO denying it!

Listen,
your right, i never heard Clinton or supporters for 8 years go on and on about either Bush sr. or Regan.
Never did he scapegoat.
The right wing had people bribing state troopers to lie and had a witch hunt designed to create the apparance of wrong doing, for example White Water, there was no crime but everyone and their mother knows that word....why?

Bush has been caught doing something that may be impeachable.

If i were him i would change the subject.

Those who argue that it hurt national security must ask themselves if there are legal means to secure this information via courts and secret courts why would the adminstration break the law....

Also when ever you hear of a foiled plot on the news it is always based on good old fashion intellegence. Based on informants and traditional means.

We don't need the president breaking the law, he swore an oath to the constituion.

Really ask yourself........the president says the terrorist attacked because they hate our freedoms.....so the question is why would our president take them from us as well.....

I agree with jdc. Clinton had/has no morals. And the majority of the media was liberal anyway. And it is still dominated by liberals. Bush is trashing them for trashing him. We have had him as president for 6 years...does anyone expect him to take the media's crap? No! After 6 years I would have thought that everyone would know that Bush doesn't take people's crap. But Clinton did!

The media loved Bill Clinton and everything he did. Including his b jobs. They never reported on his corruptness. They are pissed at Bush cuz he does have some morals, not trash like the Clintons.

the "mainstream" media, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, NYTimes, is extremely biased toward Mr. Clinton. There is data about the percentage of negative, neutral, and positive news items during Clinton and Bush years, and the bias is entirely obvious. Therefore, there was no reason for Clinton to "trash the media".

In all fairness, while I'm not the biggest supporter of Bush, he's trashing the media for putting the nation's security at risk. If he had done his snooping legally, I would agree with him.

The stories about Clinton didn't compromise national security, and he took the high road and publicly ignored it.

The liberal media likes/liked the liberal president, Clinton. He has no morals or integrity....the same as the media.

President Bush has been hammered since taking office... but still he does his job and says nothing regarding the bashing of himself and his family.

He does speak up when the American Citizen's security is at risk, because of the media..... and so should you!

Because after invading Afghanistan and Iraq , Bush thinks that he is the supreme power in the world and should not be questioned by anyone and that includes media too. So when media do their job what else can the poor guy do.

Clinton also had soldiers - still IN uniform - openly criticize him. The retired generals who recently criticized Shrub were threatened with prosecution.

Clinton was a corrupt pervert, but he wasn't petty and vindictive like Shrub. Of course, Clinton isn't a sociopath, either....

"'We were terrible to animals. Everybody would get BB guns and shoot them, or we'd put firecrackers in the frogs and throw them and blow them up.'"

Big difference! You will note that Bush only goes after the media when their actions are affecting national security. They go after him personally, and he doesn't say a thing. And they are SURE going after him personally. Clinton was criticized (sorta) by the media for his personal indiscretions. They practically never criticized him for any political actions.
