I've known a few people who were born on February 29th and most did things like the other people described. But some enjoy the experience by celebrating their 5th birthday when people born the next day would be celebrating their 20th birthday. An Aunt in her 80's jokes about being married to a 20 year old when in actuality her husband is a few month older than her but born on February 29. Whatever you do, have fun!!! My suggestion is to throw yourself a huge party every four years to make up for the other three years when there wasn't a February 29.

Your basic problem is that we all are used to figuring our age in terms of even years. To be precise, I am 63 years 90 days and so many hours and minutes old. Actually, a year is 365.24 days long (approximately)
Legally, you attain the age of majority at 12:01 a.m. on your birthday even though you were actually born later in the day.
And we all know the big deal of reaching age 30 or 40 or any other age ending in zero...
So...I suggest a reasonable solution is to consider yourself not quite at your brithday on February 28 and then celebrating your birthday the very next day....and you can do the math (little joke in spite of your request).

just calcuate based on if your birthday was the 28th.
remember that your age is the period of time you have lived, not the number of times that your birthday date (2/29) has occurred. so you may have lived for 8 years, even if there have been only 2 occurances of february 29th in that time since you were born. (you have still lived for 2900+ days)

having a birthday and getting a year older are two different things when you are born on Feb 29th... you still get a year older every 365.25 days... but you only have a birthday every 4 years.

I think you calculate it according to the time.If you were born before noon on da 29 then your birthday falls on da 28 da next year.If you are born after noon on da 29 then your birthday falls on the 1st May.That is how my aunt calculates her birthday.
