by influencing the events of the world. one person can influence the events of the world by rebelling against it, by applying its rules, by coming up with new rules, sometimes even through careless gestures like dropping a cigarette in a forest.

People make history by simply being. Anything in the past is history, whether good, bad, interesting or not.

It can be anything from Einstein's theories, the reigns of monarchs, to what a stoneage man had for his dinner.

Something which seems insignificant to you today, may become a historical turning point.
