You can try upping the refresh rate of your graphics card. You will need to use a 3rd party utility if you are running Windows 200 or XP, as there is a known issue with these 2 OSs'.
85Hz is what most people use. 60Hz, which is what the 2 OSs' default to, can cause "tearing" of the image on your monitor, and can also cause "flicker" which can give you headaches and is not good for your health.

sometimes if the pc is much older than the monitor, the monitor will give off "waves" because it's too new & too powerful for the PC to handle.

if you are using agp card then it may be the loose connection of the agp card over the agp slot in your pc. if it is fine. please try connecting your monitor to other system so that make sure that your monitor is running fine. please keep any magnetic substances away from your mointor. please keep iron materials away, spease keep your pc speakers away from your pc. even if the problem persists then please mail me so that i will give you 100% solution. even though the error exists after doing all these requirred steps, if it is your onboard display then your motherboard is for repair. for further doubts please feel free to contact me at girish4music@yahoo.co.in
