I like them and own two pair, one w/ 5" heels & the other has 51/2" spikes. The look while wearing these incredible cruel shoes is fabulous and my legs and butt just explode with sexy. But, they aren't for every day use for me, and if I'm reasonabley sure there won't be long periods of standing around, I connsider the high- heels in a heart-beat.
It doesn't seem to bother me physically yet and I am not suffering from wearing my stilettos, but like I said, " not for alot of standing around". I have flat sandals for most of my errands, and such.
Wear what you like....Like what you wear! =)

As a tall large man, I've never worn them and I can only imagine that I would not enjoy wearing them.
