Yes, that seems to happen a lot. I guess people feel justified in giving out the disrespect that they just experienced but that is not the solution. It keeps a vicious cycle in place. It'd be so much nicer if people could treat people the way they want to be treated.

some people get so uptight easily becuase they can't control their temper and their emotions.
they insult easily the same way, their unconscious mind just reacts so easily that their conscious mind is havng a hard time controlling the temper and the emotion of the person.

Double standards. It's ok for me to insult somebody, but how *dare* anybody insult *me*?????
Personally, i try my best not to insult people.
But here at Y!A, sometimes it can be very difficult. There are some monstrously annoying people here.
(Present company accepted, of course.)

Because of their ego.......it's hurts it when insulted, and boosts it for some when insulting others.

low self-esteem. we all have it, we are all affected by it. the purpose of life, to over-come (keeping in mind that the purpose is never completely realized.)
