HELLO! Im wondering if I could be pregnant... I had my periods on the 5th of June.My cycle is 30 days and when I did those ovulation calculator things, all of them said that 21st would be my ovulation day. BUT I know my ovulation day was on the 20th ( cuz that "eggwhite" stuff came out,and thats how i know that im ovulating). So I had sex on the 21st and 4 days after that twice a day. So eventho if my ovulation day was on tuesday...would there still be a chance to get pregnant after that ovulation day!!???

You *cannot* get pregnant later than the day you ovulate. It is highly unlikely even *on* the day you ovulate. This is because by the time you know you will have ovulated on a particular day, it can already be several hours past ovulation. It takes the sperm a few hours to get to the outer part of the Fallopian tube (where fertilization takes place). And the egg only lives for 6-12 hours (occasionally up to 24). So it is really *not* likely at all.

However, you also misunderstood something else. You ovulate on the first day *after* the end of the egg white cervical fluid. So if you had egg white on the 20th, you ovulated somewhere between the 21st and the 24th (depending on whether the egg white continued). Sex on the 21st, therefore is *possibly* when you were still fertile. Unless you know for sure that there was or wasn't more egg white, it is impossible to know. You are only fertile *while* you still have wet cervical fluid (sperm will die before they have a chance to fertilize an egg without a friendly environment to keep them alive).

Good luck!!

The eggwhite cervical mucus appears before you ovulate. If you had sex when you had the eggwhite stuff, then, yes, there is a good chance you are pregnant. Congrats!

Unfortunately, the waiting time between ovulation time and test time can be about 14 days. Your half-way through! Waiting to test is the hardest part.

As soon as your period is due, and MIA, take a test! First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test is voted #1 in Consumer Reports and in 69 % of women, can detect pregnancy as early as 4 days before a missed period.

your egg can stay alive 24 hours after ovulation, so if there is sperm available at the time of ovulation or within 24 hours after you have a one in four chance of becoming pregnant

I think so, but the best way to try to get pregnant, according to my wife's doctor, is to have sex before the ovulation. And the best remedy also, is to have sex everyother day.
