no. Have u heard of the big bang theory. If u have not scientist think that the earth was a giant ball of energy in the beggining the when the ball could not hold any more energy it exploded creating the universe and the earth, planet, stars and maybe even people, also creating water making oceans. But remember it is just a theory and they are many other scientific theorys out there about how the earth was created. To find more theories or if u dnt understand do what my source says

It started with the 'Big Bang' and aren't there 5 continents. Earthquakes and movement of land have pushed some land up while others have been submerged by the sea over time.

according to scriptures, i believe it was one large land mass. (gen. 1:9) also, i believe that the earth was flooded in so much that not even the tallest mountain could have bore its peak. (gen. 7:19-20). and though its not recorded in the bible, i believe that as the water abated (either absorbed into the earth or evaporated) that all of this was such a catostraphic event that the earth couldnt contain anymore water and was softened and kind of just broke and floated apart.

In the beginning the earth was a boiling sea of molten rock. As the rock cooled, water vapors escaped causing clouds to form. It began raining and cooling the surface until flooding formed the seas.

Yes. The continents as we know them, used to be connected. The name for this giant continent was Pangea.

If you look closely at the continents, you can actually see where the fit together if you were to squish them back!
