The globe has been warming since the last ice age - long before the Industrial Revolution. Before that the globe had been cooling. The Earth was once warmer than it is now. Did you know Greenland used to be Green? There might be another Ice age some time in the future and THAT won't be Humans' fault either. Humans have little or no impact on this.

What is global warming? I, personally, believe that what we are seeing is actually a continuation of the meltdown of the last "ice age". The really smart people, the ones that call themselves scientists, say we are warming up. But they only have records from 100+ years ago. Past that, it is only their best guess. They try to tell us that the Arctic was once a warm tropical climate. Nobody is complaining about the global cooling that took place back then. Yin/Yang and karma tell us that what goes around, comes around. Seasons come and seasons go. It seems to be the natural order of things. Why would an increase of 1 degree F. over the next 1000+ years bother anyone? You and I and the next 10 generations after us will not be here when and if it occurs.
To try and convince anyone that humans caused the global warming and that humans will destroy the earth is nothing but "vanity". Humans have not devised anything that can destroy the earth. Humans seem to be able to only kill other humans. The earth will be here. Humans may not.

There are a lot of people out there that are trying to do something about global warming even if some people in the government don't think it's real. People are recycling, changing incandescent light bulbs to fluorescent ligt bulbs, not buying SUV's and buying either hybrids or vehicles that run on ethanol.

Are you? It's obvious our president is in denial about this fact. We all need to seriously take a look at how we're living our lives concerning the use of fossil fuels. I own a hybrid vehicle and if we all switched over to these gas/electric cars, our need for oil would drop tremendously. Write the president as well as your congressmen and demand hybrid technology as well as other fuel options be pushed. It's not the FINAL answer to global warming but it would make a tremendous difference.

Personally, I welcome the warmer temps and the increased growing seasons. Pass me an aerosol can and let me get to work.
