you're precisely perfect. Tucker Carlson is continually ripping liberals. Matthews, at the same time as being an previous Dem operative, each and each from time to time tries to overcompensate through means of relentlessly hammering Hillary (between diverse Dems). Infinitely more advantageous elementary and balanced than Fox. If MSNBC change into like Fox, that they had stumble on some gentle spoken "conservative" someplace and pair him with a short liberal who might want to communicate over and shout him down for all time, and then declare to be "balanced".

He sometimes sounds liberal because he has honest discussion about all the corruption going on with the current administration. If he was conservative he would definitely be saying, "The current administration is doing a great job!" For the record he is an independent.

Wikipedia has a good profile of him.
Matthews was a "top aide" to Tip O'Neill (Democrat- Mass & Speaker of the House) but says, "I'm more conservative than people think I am...I voted for George W. Bush in 2000."
Who says we get wiser with age? :P

I think he is just a little right of center (Conservative), but he does a good job of hiding his bias. He definately does not suffer fools happily on his show! Of the newsmen who I think are conservatives, he is one whom I watch regularly because he is equally tough on everyone.

He's in the center. He voted for Bush in 2000 but has criticized Bush for going to war with Iraq.

I think somewhere in the middle. Which is good, it seems like everyone with political TV shows are either to the extreme left or extreme right.

I don't watch him, but I'll guess he is liberal since most news media is.
