gotta admit as a brit i think this programme rules!! Why? because its so fake! I mean c'mon! Have you ever noticed that when there happens to be a 'fight' in the locker room there is aways camera man already there getting it all on tape! or someone in the ring is always 'knocked-out' just long enough for their opponent to get their finishing move on them, which i might add is always 'the most death-defying move in the history of sports entertainment' ha ha! My favourite was the 'people's elbow!' I mean, please! You just gotta love it. It sure is entertainment and it sure gives us brits something to chuckle at especially with hmm.. what's that guy's name aha Eugene!! ANd then there is Mr *** aka Billy Gun *scratching head* why would you want to go around calling yourself 'Mr ***'?
I personally enjoy this amsuing programme but my question is why do you guys, over the pond, take it soooo damn seriously???

I too live in Britain and can't believe how the Americans take it so seriously.
Saying that my son (17) love's it! And never misses an event.
I once took him to see it live and even though I got front seat tickets I thought it was really crap! I thought that you would hear the commentators but you don't all you can hear is BANG BANG BANG. Complete waste of money we would have preferred to stay at home and watched it on TV.
To top it all off we had some weird 45 years old man with his mum and aunt sitting next to us and he was dressed like the Undertaker! We didn't know if we should laugh of be scared!

I used to watch with the WCW and I KNEW it was fake. I didn't care it was entertaining. As to how serious I took it and I got involved in watching, it is a Soap Opera. Why do women take them so serious? I mean come on a dude dies and 20 years later suddenly comes back to life? The children age but the parents don't? I mean talk about something to wonder about. I didn't go to the live events, as that makes it too obvious how fake it is. I never dressed up as the characters. It's just fun. We like our entertainment SCRIPTED. We don't want to see people get actual injuries, we just want it to look like they should have.

americans like high drama i guess. i stopped watching this about 20 yrs ago. it was getting to stupid. i would rather watch your parliment, at least when they fight, it's real. lol
