Time is a pretty abstract topic when you think about it. But the truth is that It is measure by the vibration of a cesium atom.

Personaly I think that this is a poor deffinition. The better deffinition involves light, But the cesium deff is a standard, and can be measure very precisly.

IT is very neat, the consept of time that is. Basicly the theory of relitivity states that all people can measure time the same way and come up with differant answers, so we have to deal with some strange problems.

But basicly the thing that keeps time every where in the universe is the ossolation of an electric feild and magnetic field... In other words the speed of light is the absolute deffinition..

Sorry I kinda started to ramble

Man invented "time" to measure change. I don't think it has anything to do with energy. The cesium atom is used to standardize the "second".
