Just call them up and tell them what the compition is offering, and tell them that you'll terminate their use if they don't give you the same deal. It worked for me with Brighthouse vrs. Verizon.

Call your company and tell them that you have had better offers. I did that with mine and the reduced the rate to the same as a first time customer. The only down side is the you may have to have a years contract with them.
This also can work with credit card interest rates.

Also make sure the rates the competition is offering isn't an introductary rate.

There's also the chance they'll tell you to shove it and send you on your merry way.

Who is your provider? Call them and tell them you are considering another vendor for you DSL service and wanted to offer them (your current provider) the chance to match the other service providers offer.

you can try to fight with theier retention dept, but ususally they will only reduce your rate for 3 months, after that they will cancel you if you try it again
