To check on something you think is a hoax whether urban legend or other Internet info and for viruses. Check the sight www.snopes.com and for viruses check the sight of your favorite virus blocking program i.e. McAfee or Norton, etc.

yes every week some nerd that doesnt have a life makes up some chain letter and asks you to copy and paste it to your buddys.
Its a hoax. why would yahoo be creating 8.0 version if they are closing down?? Why would they waste their time and money creating new programs if they are closing down???
Cause its not true!
