The mouth is the most vascular orifice of the human body.
Phagocytes seem act more rapidly in the mouth. This clears dead tissue and clots faster speeding healing. The temperature is warmer in the mouth. Oral mucosa has greater blood flow than skin. All the reasons are not known. This is a really good question!

They don't actually, but there could be some factors that explain why some cuts may. The depth and severity of the cut definately have an effect on the healing time - obviously a bigger cut will take longer to heal. Also, the skin is exposed to a lot of dirt and things that probably have a lot of bacteria on them, and the tongue is relatively clean - although the food in your mouth could cause it to be infected as well...
Ok, so I actually don't know the answer, but I guess it's the size of the cut. Cuts on the tongue are always smaller than cuts on any other part of your bdy because the tongue doesn't get cut on much.

All cuts donot heal fast.Surgical and deep cutting on tongue takes much time to heal.As regards small/minor cuts, saliva itself is an anticeptic, soothing and healing.Other parts of the body is not under such fluid. Therefore, minor cuts on tongue heals faster.

I haven't tested that theory, but i find it interesting considering the mouth is a pool of bacteria and the tongue inhabits in it.

Just cos of massive blood circulation, than the skin.
do u know! we can increase the blood circulation to a particular part of the body (ear, eyes, head, stomach) just by concentrating on that part alone!.
it seems joking for the unknown,
but person who meditate (really) can feel and understand this!
