We grill out, do sparklers, and watch the fireworks from 5 different cities on our front porch.

The "same old thing" is tradition. It would not be a celebration without fireworks.

We go downtown and watch the fireworks from the balcony of my husband's office one day and another day we go to a small town show with our extended family and this year we might be going to this church fireworks show too.

You could bust into a zoo and set all the animals free. You might want to leave the lions and bears though.

Then we burn the british flag, and eat freedom toast.
