I’m not sure how to go about hating a whole nation. Surely there are innocent people even in a country headed by the most murderous of tyrants. Thus I’d confine my hatred to the tyrant, his henchmen, and other governing figures who show a callow disregard for human life and progress.
On the American side, Mr. Bush himself is much too shallow a figure to merit hate – even though some of the arrogant people who surround him are certainly candidates for loathing. The British PM is not so much hateful as disappointing in his pandering to American policy.
To me:
The governments of any and all Arab states are useless. This is also true for Iran.
Turkey & Lebanon have a chance of establishing reasonable versions of modern governments.
China & Russia are horrible examples of “how to make progress.”
Fidel should throw himself out of office and take up umpiring in the minors.
North Korea’s Kim needs extensive therapy – after which he should be jailed anyway.
With few exceptions, (e.g., Botswana), the African sub-Saharan nations are totally dysfunctional.
South & Central America is way too complicated for easy generalities – some good stuff, lots of lousy stuff.
I’ll stop here. There are too many nations on my feces scroll.

Any country with a lot of power is going to be hated, especially if they try to bully others with it, like we've been doing in the past few years. And don't forget that the sun used to never set on the British Empire, so there's some residual resentment there, too. I love both countries and their people, but the one I hate the most is also the U.S., even though I live here, because of our government's practices.

All countries are hated by someone...
The only people that hate America and England are most likely Muslims who don't want freedom.....the people who hate America and England are probably Jihadists....
I don't hate any country....people are the same everywhere and have the same needs as everyone else....it's the governments that screw everything up.

I think America is the most hated right now because of Iraq.
Also because it is the most powerful.

America's the most hated. The biggest reason's gotta be because our "leaders" want every nation that has problems to be a democracy.

I have pondered why this is. It is because of govt. policy. It is not the people who are despised worldwide, but the govts. Consider this - governments have killed or murdered more people over the last century, than all other criminals and terrorists combined. If you live in UK or especially USA, your worst enemy is not terrorists or criminals (nor even the hated lawyers) it's your own government.

i admire england most of the time, except for when it's blindly following america's footsteps.
however, i hate the american foreign policy. i realize that the average american has nothing to do with it but the dudes are trying too hard to get involved in everything in this world and i'm sick and tired of them butting in in everything and shoving everyone else cause 'they're americans and they can do whatever they darn well please.'
