If by "posh" you mean classy then "trendy" can sometimes make you look the very opposite of 'classy':
If you choose "trendy" then make sure that you don't pick clothes and make up that go that bit too far, so that you do end up looking 'tarty' instead of "trendy.
Whichever style you do choose, it needn't cost you the earth; look in some of the charity shops, always buy your NEW clothes in seasonal sales.
Make sure you buy what suits YOU, because it is right for your shape and colouring NOT because your favourite celeb wears it, or because it's 'the latest thing'; knowing that what you wear is right for you will give you more confidence and this in turn will make you more attractive.

Being Posh often is mutually exclusive from being trendy and you should really think about what it is that you want.

Designer brands are often trendy but rarely do any of the aristocracy flaunt a trendy image. Instead try to focus on timeless designs rather then simply focusing on what is in season or is more costly.
For example of the modern brands Prada are generally quite conservative whereas Dolce and Gabbana are far more trendy however they compete within the same price category.

Just be yourself and act naturally. Avoid M & S and Store clothes (too much alike). Use vibrant summer colours in a contrast mixture. You will stand out from the crowd. Wear bright coloured shoes to match your outfit. A 2 tone coloured handbag will add spice to your demure. Walk upright - look to the skies. Do all of this.....your life will change.......not only will you look posh and trendy, but you will feel posh and trendy. That too, is most important. I do hope this helps you.

Always buy classic good quality clothes that will last a long time and never go out of fashion (well fitting jeans/ plain coloured fitted t shirts/ an expensive blazer) Stick to leather shoes and bags (never trainers)

This is what my mum calls a 'timeless look' (which i know sounds boring) but you can make it work what ever the trend or season.

Because polka dots are trendy now, try adding a polka dot scarf or liven up the outfit with colourful jewelry. I wear lots of chunky ethnic bangles if i want to make an ordinary outfit look a bit more funky!

Hope this helps

go for an individual look, never pay for designer brands - that is such a waste of money!! Why give your money to a label that will never give you any loyalty!!

Just be u, try a new hair style?
