Refuse to pay for the Pay-per-view element.
Write and tell them there has been a mistake. Ask them for written details of the date it was ordered, how and by whom and dates and times of when it was accessed. They must have that information, since that is what they base the charges on,
Keep calling them every day, keep a record of when you called, who you spoke to and what was said.
It is, unfortunately, all to easy to order a new service from your phone provider by phone. It's quite possible that someone else ordered PPV and the record was wrongly entered by the salesperson in the database. An error like that would be very difficult to trace and the cable company may honestly believe that you did order it because it says so in your records. The person who did order it will very likely have complained that it wasn't working and, of course, they will now have it but your provider would not have known where it was incorrectly entered, so has not deleted the incorrect entry from your records.

He lied about it or did he just not tell you? Masturbation is a personal topic and a lot of guys are not comfortable announcing to their wives, "hey honey I just jerked it!" I mean, come on! Even if you asked him directly why the bill was higher and he lied, he only did it because he was dreadfully embarassed. Yes, people can turn into adolescents when it comes to topics like masturbation or porn. If you have a negative attitude about porn, you've only made it easier for him to lie by creating a hostile enviroment. Not telling someone something is not the same as lying especially when it's something that is not really much of your business like masturbation. Yes, you're married to the guy, but it's still not your business if you're getting yours in the bed room. So, you're leaving him over 50 dollars and a bit of embarassment? Wow! There's obviously more issues going on here than just porn or the money. Sounds like this incident is giving you an out. I suggest you figure out what the real issue is and work it out with your husband and don't make threats about leaving unless you mean it.

If you have ever thrown out an old bill with account info on it, it would be very easy for someone to go through your trash (called dumpster diving WHICH IS MORE COMMON THAN MOST PEOPLE REALIZE!!!) and get this information. From then on they can get into your account('s) just as easely as you can.
They may have cracked their cable box and can enter any users account they can get their hands on. Charging only a little from each account which may then be overlooked as apposed to $1,000's from one person.
Most likely it's the babysitter or the kids when your not home.
