Gays never did anything to you, so why do some people hate them?

Everybody in society isn't used to the idea of men being with men or women being with women. That is why its one of the most talked about issues in politics today. Look back in history.....homosexuality wasn't mention much in those days because they believe it was a "taboo" or some kind of sickness that "can" be cured. I am not saying that being gay is right or wrong but its a choice of lifestyle.

I don't hate them at all. This is quite normal, as we are male or female by birth, I believe that gays are same way by birth. Why people hate them because Gays and Lesbians are now coming more open in the world and the rest of the world is discouraging them. They will have to take their time to make their space among the global societies.

it isnt wrong to be gay at all its just a bit taboo. i ama gay female who is in a great relationship with my partner. people who think it is wrong to be gay are just narrow minded and to be frank not very nice people. people are born the way they are and the world would be a very boring place if everyonewas the same. Its all about diversity and everyone has some difference to the person next to them. wther it be race, wieght, sexuallity , hair colour absoloutly anything really. its what determines us as an individual and shouldnt be frowned upon. i am just as happy as a straight person. and why shouldnt i after all if i am cut i bleed just the same as they do so i hurt when people single me out for being what i am. the same as they would be

People usually hate what they fear. And people tend to fear the unknown. So if they don't ever take the time to get to know people different than themselves, then they remain ignorant and fearful. It is the same with any prejudices...racism, gender discrimination, sexual preference discrimination....it is all born of ignorance. People don't choose the be gay or lesbian, they are born that way. Just like I didn't choose to born female, just like one doesn't choose to be born with the color of skin or nationality or ancestry they have. It is simply who they are. There will always be ignorant, prejudiced people in the world. Be the advocate...any time you hear a prejudiced remark, point it out to that person, make them aware of their ignorance and that you won't tolerate their hate. Unless we make them own their stupidity, make others recognize it, and not just accept it....then we are part of the problem.

Its only considered wrong by the simple minded and uninlightened idiots that think that gay people choose the way they are.This includes the religions that think its a sin. They should look at their own faults a bit more often and Mind their own business!

Some people hate them because they fear what they don't understand. I know that my family is against homosexuality because it clearly states in the Bible that we are here to be tested and to multiply and replenish the Earth. I am a mormon and I know that in my religion, we are against being gay. But me personally, I know that everyone is different. I am not going to hate someone because they are different than me and I am not going to ridicule them. They have it hard enough. I wish people were just nicer to everyone.

NO one is born guy. That is just bull. It is a life choice and they chose to be that why . Every one has a choice . I don't hate any one but the Bible say in 1 Corinthians 6 vr. 9 do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived : Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. But Thank to Jesus we can get forgiveness ,so long as we turn from it.

i don't hate gay people i have gay friends and i don't make fun of them they are born gay its not like u can become it

I PERSONALLY DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH GAY'S A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE IS GAY AND WE HAVE LOTS OF FUN TOGETHER.. MY HUSBAND ON THE OTHER HAND CANT STAND THEM AND HIS ANSWER AS TO WHY IS THIS.. HE IS A MAN AND WHEN HE WAS A LITTLE BOY HE WAS MOLESTED BY A MAN THATS WHY HE DISLIKES THEM SO I AM ASSUMING THAT IS THE MAJORITY OF THE PROBLEM WITH THOSE WHO DISLIKE THEM, AFTER ALL IT IS NOT THEIR LIFE SO THEY SHOULD NOT JUDGE OTHERS....

It's not wrong to be gay. What is wrong is not being true to yourself. You should be the person you are and your friends will accept it, or their not really your friends!
