The movie with the guy's possessed hand was Idle Hands, and it's one of my favorites. That movie, along with Evil Dead 2 ARE comedies, so, by laughing at them, you're doing what's intended. Who watches comedies and expects to be scared?

As for the worst movie ever, you can't say Manos: The Hands of Fate just because it's so unbelievably terrible that it's fantastic. One of the worst movies I've ever seen was Gummo. It was just hard to watch, not because of anything happening on screen, but because it was just so pointless, plotless, and just plain awful. What's worse is that people go around praising this movie like it's some amazing, beautiful achievement.

One of the final scenes is a lingering shot that seems to go on forever of the main character eating dinner in the bathtub while his mom washes him, and, maybe it's just me, but this scene is absolutely REVOLTING. I mean, I've seen my share of movies, and I've seen some stuff, but if I never see that scene again, it'll be too much.

The movie's ONLY redeeming quality is a killer sountrack, but, what good does that do when the film is so awful?

A Beautiful Mind....This movie got so much positive praise, and I expected a great film, but it was HORRIBLE. It was totally unrealistic. The acting did disservices to both main actors. It was basically a psychological version of the Sixth Sense without it being very clever or original.

Disclosure is the only movie I have ever actually walked out of the theater during. The film was bad and the sex scenes were uncomfortable and the plot was ludicrous.
