If there is an end of the universe, it'll probably be either man's fault or because of a large explotion.

And yes, if that does happen, I believe there will be another universe that will one day form.

1. Some people assume the universe is finite in time and space and thus must have had a beginning and must have an end.
2. Other people assume the universe is infinite in time and space, and thus there may be local (galaxy-wide) ends and beginnings, but the universe always has and always will exist.
3. Other people assume the univer is infinite in time but finite in space, so every so often the universe is destroyed, but then it comes right back again.

Since we don't know the basic parameters (finite, infinite), we make assumptions, then look for evidence to support them. All three of these have some support, so who knows? What do you think?

I think the Universe is something proportional. It is the place and time where and when I live or exist. Once I have stopped living, it means "my universe" has come to an end. Is there any other universe we go to after death. These are metaphysical enigma which science has not reached yet. This is where there is no return.

Like a cosmically slow beat of a heart, the cosmos unfolds and expands, then collapses slowly back into a singular point. The academic study of this is called Brane Theory, a subset of String theory, which is itself a subset of Catastrophe Theory.

Thus, we began in a BIG BANG, and when it all comes back together in a crunch, we will all experience a GNAB GIB, and as the membranes of reality collide, all trace of us and our Gods and Godlets will be wiped out.

Theory sez that soon after that the 'branes will separate again, giving rise to a whole new everything, complete with it's own
"I am that I am" and probably a whole new set of laws of physics.

All that is our present cosmos will be a part of that, but we and our "One God above all others" will not know it. All trace of us will have been extinguished.

Well, here is where religion and science take two different turns.......according to science the world will come to an end...and it will not be reborn again....
According to Religion, the world will also end, but only to be reborn again so we are resurrected to the after life.

It depends on what you believe in. If you prefer to look to science, then yes... most scientists believe that the universe is expanding and will eventually undergo some cataclysmic change. If you believe in God and the Bible, then no. The universe will be preserved.

The end of anything that substantial is as unlikely as the end of all awareness...

When "I am" became what it is, how could it un-know itself?

All-that-is just IS, and while IT may change into many forms -- perhaps even one that we wouldn't recognize -- the very awareness of existence shall not be lost -- and some say that all existence is simply manifest awareness...

...at least that's what I read on a box of cereal...

Every few billion billion years the universe folds up to rest a bit. After a nap it unfolds and begins anew.
