BCCI is full of politics. Till we had Dalmiya there who is from Bengal, Ganguly had no problems, but the change of powers to Pawar has tilted the noose to Ganguly, and More is totally favouring those guys who previously were not cared upon. And money bribing either way around has spoiled the entire sport.

From a UK person point of view, I think Greg Chappell is trying to get the best team available. Ganguly in India is a very controversial subject and I personally may be missing something pertinent.

Ofcourse it is. Theres been politics involved since probably the first BCCI came into existence. There have been personal problems between the head of selectors and Ganguly and that seems to be the reason of his exclusion from the side.

To be honest, Big Yes. It is all politics. But his poor form also a reason for his exit. Well, it is a bad time for ganguly

no not at all. he was not in his form and right now v have so many players coming(specially great and young). so v had to say bye-bye to saurav ganguly. v need a world class team by world cup so rite now v are experimenting with new players and the ones who are not playing good and are not in form have to sit out.

no way - he was not scoring runs for a very long time. You tell me a team that has kept on within somebody who has done nothing for an extended period of time!! Ganguly is gone, and I say good riddance - he wasn't that good even when he was on!!
