The source of the heat is from Hell (so generally hell is hot), so when it rises our earth is of moderate temperature for us living things. The heat continues to rise and when it is high up in the atmosphere, pressure reduced, this result in Cold Heaven as well....:p

Hot air rises. Heat radiates. Heat comes from a heat source so Hell must be a source like underfloor heating.

Why is a theology question in the science section? Hell is often referred to as a lake of fire. Once you go beneath the crust of the earth, you find (surprise!) a lake of fire! This molten rock is what spews forth from our volcanos. It was heated by the energy imparted by the impact of countless collisions of meteorites. That heat does want to escape but, by the grace of God, the crust allows us to live. The crust is like a garden of Eden, isn't it?
