You dont need the carburator checked since it`s fuel injected, have your tech check the egr system as well as the basics, plugs, plug wires etc as well as any codes that may be in the system.

DO NOT ADD ANYTHING TO YOUR FUEL,THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "TUNE-UP IN A CAN" AND THOSE PRODUCTS CAN LEAD TO OTHER EXPENSIVE PROBLEMS!

Could be water in the gas. Could be a bad fuel filter or fuel pump. Start by pouring a bottle of Heat into a full tank of gas, then move on to the fuel filter, air filter, and plugs. If it still gives you problems, check the EGR valve by pulling the vaccum line and plugging the line off. If that fixes your problem, don't bother changing the EGR as they are really useless anyway. Not much other than that for simple fixes. The rest involve things like TPS and disassembly of the throttle body.

The problem could be a number of things. HAve you had a recent tune up? If not do that first. If that dosn't fix it try changing the fuel filter and having the fuel injectors cleaned. You also could have a fuel pump that is starting to fail you.

It may be crap in the engine. I recommend running a couple of bottles of HEET through the car with a full tank of gas. If that doesn't help, you may want to think about getting your transmission flushed. It may be the torque converter fighting the engine at low rpms.

Have your fuel filter checked, also have the ignition checked, then correct as indicated. These things you can dity if you are a little experienced and will cost you parts only.
