I am suburban........although there is plenty to see and do around but not that many interesting things (to me anyway apart from grocery shopping and work) after all , I like going dowtown. Love the little corners where I can find the most surprising shops , the diversity, which have all kinds of things. I avoid the touristic areas (borriinnnggg) and found little gems in non very well known areas.
I like going into little "pockets" which have various emigrants : their shops are great.......etc ..I think it is one of the beauty of Toronto which I appreciate most. And people are so friendly !!! They see you being a bit lost and even without you asking , they will go to great lengths to help you !!
But...living in a world of skyscrapers, cars, exhaust fumes.......I do miss the "real" country side.....should not complain really; have plenty of parks and ravines just walking around...
I just take turns in my taste :-)

Well, I like urban, because of more chances to have everything nearby to you, but in the other side, when I get tired of urban life, I'd prefer the rural life, because it's more quiet, the life goes more slowly along with nature that surrounds you, but for anything urgent you will need to have a car that will drive you back to the city!

Have to say rural. Probably more "rural" than most people would like. My hometown has 1300 people, but we're only 30 miles from the city (which most "big city" people would argue that Amarillo doesn't qualify as a "city", but it's good enough for me). Close enough to make a run into town for important things and a night of fun, but secluded in it's own little charming, small town way. So, like our billboard says: Country living with a view of the city lights!

I live in a rural area but 30 minutes away from the city. It's best this way, at least for me. I live in a quiet neighborhood where I hear the birds every morning, it's nice and quiet at night. However, during the hectic days I drive to the city, go shopping, go the museums, etc. It's nice for the family.

Urban… I’m a city girl all the way…love seeing new faces, the loud noises, all the shopping centers and cute restaurants…I like being where everything’s happening and moving….couldn’t settle for the rural life….at least not at this stage of my life cause I just wanna explore and enjoy everything right now..

I live in rural area where there no main road connected to my house. My house surrounded by rubber tree, hills and swamps. Every morning I can hear sound of birds, leaves moves blow by relaxing wind, and sound of river stream. Every morning – relaxing morning.
I also have a house at town. However, I really like to stay here rather than to see traffic jam, people rushing on the street, sound of vehicles and pollutions in the big city.
Sometime I must stay there for couple days or weeks to do business. So, I need to prepare at least I table of aspirin. And I wonder, why people like to stay in the big town? With all pollutions, social problems, etc.
