Yes he did,
FIFA rules state clearly that diving or simulation should attract a yellow card,his was a clearly case of diving. And since he already had a yellow,yellow plus yellow equals red.

Two yellow card equal a red card, and he already had a yellow card. So even if it didn't seem like a red card worthy offense, the pattern of behavior was.
