Yes. You can be Friends with anyone, as long as you are both willing to have a friendship. The problem is that society creates a view that male-female relationships should be intimate, friendships should only be the starting point for something more. This view is wrong, but sadly forces people to try and conform, Which creates the need to ask such questions to make sure it's okay, because society says all male-female should be romantic unless family.

Look at all the answers, all the ladies said yes, but the guys said yea, for a while, or no. Guys can not do it. If a guy is a girl buddy he is working on something, A guy can not be a friend to a lady unless he is gay. No he can not just be a Friend, He might say that, but no. NO, NO I'm a guy believe me you can not do it. Men have a sexual thought at least 10 times an hour if not more. We look at every girls boobs, butt, mouth. even if its a glance. we are thinking about sex. No we can not be a buddy to a friend.

It is but if the friendship is GREAT and lasts a long time, you sometimes end up in bed or in a REALLY good relationship. I had a guy best friend of five years and then we fell in love and ended up breaking the hearts of our significant others. We called off the relationship because of all the conflict, but his girlfriend wouldn't allow us to remain friends. We use to sneak and have sex from time to time until I got a man...

I think its very possible for men and women to be just Friends..My best friend was a man he passed away a year ago, we grew up together and never were sexually involved, I have many guy friends.That ARE just that FRIENDS no sex... In fact I have more man friends then women friends.

But at times, some thing else may come bundled up with friendship for the joy of being together.

certainly.... but only for a while. over a period of time, which might even be many many years later, the friendship WILL get physical. no person can claim to gave avoided physical relationship.

For sure, I mean I have many male friends. Just like my female friends. Sure sometimes you might wonder about them sexually, but that is natural. :)
