You see the blue color in the sky due to light refracting through the molecules in our atmosphere. If there were no atmosphere, the sky would look just as you see it at night, black, except for the blinding bright light received from the sun. Since our atmosphere reflects and absorbs some of the light from the sun, the light on the airless planet would be more harmful. Since, however, there is no AIR to breathe, life as we know it would have never developed in the first place, so the damaging rays of the sun are your least worry. You may be able to find some pictures taken from the moon or out in space of the sun. In these pictures, you will get a good idea of what the airless sky would look like. Hope this helps.

if the earth had no athmosphere, than the light coming from the sun wouldn't be scattered anymore by passing through the atmosphere and the color seen would be the reflected one from the sun :white
