I'd like to see it because I heard there's a really great guitar solo of Jimi Hendrix playing the "Star Spangled Banner"... is it worth the money to see it??

Yes, it is definitely worth the money to see. Not just for the cool music, but also for the fact that Woodstock is an amazing piece of our American culture and history. And the film does a great job documenting it from beginning to end. If you do see it (which I hope you do) let me know what you think.

Not only the Hendrix thing but seeing the movie will give you a real time look at how things were in 69. Nothing in the movie is fabricated or embellished. It's simply three hours plus of actual video footage taken over a period of five days.
It's not only a great true to life music story but an equally great American historical film. â«âªâ«

If your talking about the original Woodstock then yes see it and enjoy..If not the original its not going to be rip for me..I was there and yes if that makes me old so be it!..=)There will never be another Woodstock like the original..thats already been proven by the disaster they tried to recreate already..Other generations just dont have a clue to what made it great and legendary!

Yes, Richie Havens, Jefferson Airplane, Crosby Stills Nash and Young all at their peak. It was a time of idealism and hope amid war and distrust in our government. 2 Kennedys and MLK had just been whacked. It is a small but very interesting moment in our history.
