im buying a computer and it often says coa???
and some computers have no disc but comes with an authority number or something, i dont know whether that means i still need a disc if ever i need to reboot the system, can someone help as i dont want to pay the extra money for the xp pro disc if i only need the number thingy with the computer, thanks heaps!

can it be a burnt disc with a genuine coa, would that reformat your computer??

If you don't want to buy the disc use you CD burner, or someone who has one, and make a Windows recovery disk.

COA means Certificate of Authenticity. It is the little sticker attached to your machine.

If Windows XP is installed on the computer, you do not need the Windows CD to boot. However, if the hard drive ever crashes, you will need a Windows CD to put things back together again, so it is a good idea to have one.

use clone it . it copy's the partition, and the system with it being activated ,you can use the cd to restore , clean or install a new hard drive, you can use Cd's or DVDs, great program. I'll bet Microsoft hates it.

Checkout... they'd have an outstanding determination for calling of their ad... why do not you call them up and ask them about the deploy CD... its them who can make sparkling for optimistic.... and swifter than any google. i do not favor 10 factors... theres no interesting in answering a instantly ahead sense question...
