Yes, until 1967 it was completely illegal to marry someone of a different race in roughly half of all US states. The Supreme Court case Loving vs. Virginia settled the question of legality once and for all.

This was in the LATE 1960's!

While I believe that it has never been illegal for whites and blacks to breed, you may want to inform your parents (before they have any more offspring like you) that it is NOT legal for brother and sister to breed.
