You probably did not log out of YM when you shut down your home machine. If the app hung on shutdown, Windows would have killed it in order to shut down. Make sure that you log out of YM and shut it down manually before shutting off your home machine.

OR -- someone has hacked your password and is logging on as you. Change your password!

It may be that you are using two different yahoo i.d. at the same time. Ok let me clear it, suppose that you are surfing the Yahoo webpage and you are signed in. Now you start up the Yahoo Msgr and try to Sign in with a different mail i.d.(if you have in Yahoo! ), then this error message does pop up & logs you out.

If this is not the case then I suppose that your username & password may have been stolen and is being used at the same time when you are trying to.

yeah it is strange huh.....but u have asked ur computer or ur home page to remember u...little box say remember me well as strange as it seems ur home page and computers connected to them can tell that u and ur password is not on ur home computer.....but actually no real biggie...if u are at work u need another username and password and it wil never happen again....same as when u want to chat voice and computer says u can't use voice because of it being used by another application....this was a hair puller for sure...but it slips ur mind ...that u have not signed in or out of something the brain can't process all infor...only remembers ur mistakes
