Real simple folks -
If it's a CD-R, files cannot be erased or deleted in such a manner that the CD can be used again. It's a one-time use CD. Period. You can use acid, nuke it in a microwave, put it through a shredder, run over it with a bulldozer if you're concerned that the data may find it's way into the wrong hands.
If it's a CD-RW, it can be erased and re-used. When you put the CD in the computer, and if you're using Win XP, you will see a prompt in the left hand task pane to "erase". Click on that and follow the prompts. If you're not using Win XP, go to My Computer, right click the icon containing the CD, and you should have an "erase" command.
***NOTE*** When you erase a CD-RW it's all or nothing. You cannot select which files to erase. You either erase the entire CD or nothing at all.

I'm not sure of which of two possible questions you are asking.
If you mean, who do you delete files off a CD once you have burned the CD, you may not be able to. If it is a CD-R, it is a "one time use" CD. You burn it once, and you are done. You can not change anything on the CD. If the CD was a CD-RW, (rewriteable), then you can reformat the CD and use it over. (You also have to have a CD burner that has CD-RW ability).
If you mean, after I burn files to a CD, they are still on my computer in a folder that says "these files are waiting to be burned to a CD", then all you have to do is go into the folder, and delete the files. When you write to a CD in XP, it makes a temporary folder on your hard drives and copies everything into that folder first, and then actually burns the CD. That "files waiting to be burned" is that temporary folder. If you have already burned the files (or decide you don't want to burn the files) you can simple delete them out of the folder. It will not affect the CD. It will not remove the original file from your hard drive. It only deletes that temporary copy of the file.
Hope one of those two is the answer to the question you are trying to ask.

Well it depends all on the type of the CD u r using. If it is a RW CD then badluck dude u cant' but if it is a R-RW then u can do that with a help of any burning software like nero.
There is also an inbuilt software for writing or erasing CDs' in windows XP. U can also use that.
U can acces it through the CD drives folder (it will be present on the extreme left of the folder).

If it is a CD-R, you can't. Not that I know of, anyway.
If it is a CD-RW, tell your CD write program to "overwrite" the next time you copy files to it.
If you need to destroy the files on a CD-R, you can break them, but be VERY careful. You can also use a wire brush or similar to scratch it to death.

it depends on what CD you used.. if you used the CD-recordable.. then forget it.. if you used CD-rewrittable.. then yuo still can.. but i can't really tell you the process.. cause it depends on the software you're using.. so.. just try goind to my computer.. click the drive where your cd is and select all the files in it and try to delete.. hope that works.. then again.. depends on what software you have..
