How to help our own country. The homeless the starving. We continue to send money to countries that are needy while avoiding the issue on our own soil. It makes me very upset. It is good to help those in need but do something for the people that live here first then spread the love.
The fact that alot of bad press about the war on terror. Have these people forgot that WE were attacked ON OUR OWN SOIL. I keep hearing Why are we fighting bring our troops home. What happens the next time we are attacked were we live. Who will they blame. THE PEOPLE WHO PULLED THE TROOPS TOO SOON.

Africa - it's this whole, huge continent that's virtually forgotten in so many American's minds. There are a lot of things going on over there that are terrible, things that most of us don't imagine could happen today. There are other things, too, good things, and things that are just natural disasters and such. We are a big country and we could help, but there's a lot that we just don't know. One example is that there are children being forced into rebel armies as soldiers; for the story of some of those children in Uganda, check out this website: http://www.invisiblechildren.com . Of course, there are ways to find out, but most people only know about what they're explicitly told on the news, or what they see on Oprah or something. So I think the American news needs to start bringing up stories about real people in other places that they're virtually ignoring right now, like Africa.

Why are not people pulling together to fight and win the war on terrorism? We all should have the same goal, homeland security and defeat terrorists who wish to kill Americans. We should be looking for common ground to do what is best for all of us.
I see people on the left bad mouthing our President, in the media, for political gain. I see the main stream media giving "air time" and "face time" to anyone with a name who will say anything negative about the President and our war effort.
I see the left-wing loonies and the left-wing media in a symbiotic relationship. Each party using the other to get their message out. The message is not a positive one: Find fault with the President and the war effort.
For everyone in the USA, our lives are at stake. We should consider that first, then worry about who will be elected this year, next year, or the years thereafter.

The perversion of Christian values by the Republican right. The Republicans propagate taking food from the hungry, medicine from the sick, and care for the neediest among us as Christian values, when my Bible very clearly states that we will all be judged by how we treat the least of those among us.
The annihilation of the middle class by the corporate oligarchy. People who are comfortably middle class have their jobs discontinued for whatever reason, lose their healthcare, lose their retirement funds, are unemployed for extended periods in this "Robust" economy, and then must settle for a service sector job making little more than minimum wage with no benefits.
The plan to fail Medicare Part D plan. Most seniors will endure a donut period when their expenditures will not be covered at all, while they are still expected to pay the premiums for coverage they are not getting. After they reach $2250 and until they exceed $5100 in drug expenditures, they must pay 100% of RX charges while still paying for insurance through Part D that they cannot use. Where is the outrage?

Many positive things that ordinary citizens do everyday: Example,
I read in Reader's Digest that one man sings old songs in senior
centers and hospitals and makes everyone happy there.
The media paints the picture of what the times are like. More people would be happier if the news didn't seem so glum all of
the time.

How about the WMDs found in Iraq last week. I saw it on Foxnews.com, but it hasn't been anywhere else. It's like the major media is trying to HIDE it so people don't find out that there were weapons found finally.

Our embarassing medicare program! Medical costs are at a an all time high, so much that an individual with a life-threatening disease couldn't afford to live after all the costs, therefore you may as well let your disease progress and die.
