I have never been in such a situation, but am making a suggestion because I am a parent myself.
Your parents love you more than anything else - even themselves. The very fact that they both want to see your reports means they are concerned about you and your progress. They do not want you to make the mistakes they did, and learn without hurting yourself or someone else. They want you to be healthy and happy, always.
Good reports are not just that - they imply a good education, and all parents want their children to get one. Its a passport to a good college, a good degree, and hence a good employment, and a financially secure future. whether its bankruptcy or earthquakes, your education is an asset that you can never lose.
So, do not lie to them. Be truthful. Seek help from your teachers, studymates and those who know you well to identify your weaknesses and work on those that you can, while you can, so that you never get bad reports. Then you'll find your parents bragging about you to all they meet!!!!!

First off it's not the end of the world.........just one bad report. Stand up and take responsibilty by telling your parents and get it over with. To keep it from them is not only avoiding the reality but is also prolonging your agony. Now tell them already and get back to the books where your attention is obviously needed the most.

I think so ,you haven't bad score in all the subjects.
You can tell them true, but also add that everybody have some capability in some filed.Only a few knows everything. You must find your interest and your ability and persuade your parents to encourage you on that field.
Good luck

Be honest, let them both know before they see the report. If you will or can bring the grade up~do it. Take the punishment, grounding, etc. with your honesty. Hiding it until it comes out will make everything worse.

Just come out and say it, be honest. They are going to find out anyway and I think they'd appreciate if they heard it from you.
Try harder and make up for it before the next one =)
