The reality behind the first step of a human being on the moon is absolutely mind blowing and incredibly hard to imagine. It is so difficult to imagine for some people that they become conspiracy theorists... Having had the good fortune to speak with a US astronaut in person, I would have to say that this is a reality that is explained best by experience than by words or pictures.

What if we all woke up tomorrow and realized that it was all a hoax. That beautiful picture of the blue planet rising over the horizon of the moon all a hoax. Then we find out that the Earth is actually flat. That the Earth is the center of the solar system and the sun orbits the Earth. That Elvis is alive and working at a Walmart...Whew I got a little carried away there!! But seriously I can see why some people buy into this conspiracy theory because of the magnitude and scale of acheivement that this was, especially for the time. For those who are of the opinion that if we had the technology then why cant we go now the answer is quite simple.MONEY. Getting to the moon back then was a NATIONAL movement. It was so inspirational that everyone was backing and supporting the effort. Now in order for NASA to get anything done they have to go through so much to get the funding it ridiculous. Today there are many who think we need the money here on Earth forget space. Back then you couldnt find a person on the street who wasnt 100 percent behind it.

The Apollo software defeated the Russians in the Propaganda warfare. That become what it become designed to do. The Moon is worthless. we've been there, planted the flag a number of cases, and there is not any reason to bypass decrease back. We couldn't if we would have beloved to. The technologies that approved the Apollo software, the Saturn V rocket, has been allowed to be destroyed. The infrastructure become disassembled and offered for scrap. the large crew of persons, 1000's of 1000's of engineers and experienced workers, have all got here upon different employment or have died. there is not any nationwide will to go back to the moon. It grants no advantages. No earnings.

Well, truthfully, with so much better technology and knowledge now, if we did land on the moon, then why haven't we been able to do it again??
One of America's biggest hoax, I believe.
We had to beat the Russians and make sure that they didn't look better then us by getting to the moon first. Nothings changed, really. We still feel that way.

What is behind it is power politics. The US went to the Moon to show the world that the American way is better than the Soviet way.

I say that the first human step on moon was not by Neil Armstrong, but by the cameraman who was shooting the scenes. Armstrong was second in line.
