medals are dated, 1989 1990, can anyone tell me if they have any value, and details of what they were all about? fronts have an elephant and a jaguar, other side world savers

These are medals made for the Natwest Bank as part of a promotional scheme. It involved a tie-in with the Worldwide Fund for Nature. There had earlier been a similar program with a "piggy bank" element for children account-holders.

There is little value to the actual medals. Because yours are still wrapped, they will have moderately higher appeal to collectors - and your 1989 medal may even be something of a ririty - the medals are better associated with the early 1990's.

Consult a local coin dealer for an estimate, and spend a little time researching your pieces on the Internet. Local coin collectors' clubs are a good place to get more information if you are that interested. You can also write Natwest and they will be glad to give you a complete background about the program in which these medals were used.
