There is *no* way to guarantee that you will have a boy. The most you can do is to increase the likelihood. The only method of doing so with any scientific backing to its success is the Shettles method (see sources section below). However, it is only 75-90% effective, so you should only use it if you would be thrilled with a baby of either sex. For maximum chances of success, read the book, not just the Web site.

A number of years ago, medical studies confirmed that the probability of conceiving a boy is improved by using methods long thought to be just folk tales.
It turns out that sperm carrying chromosones for boys are more mobile than those for girls - but that sperm for boys is less enduring. So if the sperm is not fresh, or the ovum is nearing the end of its viability, female children are more probable.
The techniques, doctors determined, involve having intercourse on or as close as possible to the day of ovulation. Then the man should do his best to wait for ejaculation until the woman experiences orgasm. Depositing the sperm from ejaculation with the deepest possible penetration at that point is the last bit of advice doctors gave.
Not only is this just plain great to experience, but it also gives sperm with male chromosomes an advantage.
Apart from this - which is not guaranteed, but only an improvement on statistical probability - it is possible to arrange for in vitro fertilization using only sperm carrying male chromosomes. Some people go so far as to have tests made after conception and abort female fetuses, but this is a very bad practice for numerous reasons.

Sorry, but sperm that carry the male chromosome are rather weak.
If you wanted a girl, get a jet figther pilot and sleep with him after every test run where he experienced greater than 7G's. You would have significantly greater chances of getting a female.
No real good way to get a male unless you do like the Chinese and abort female fetuses.
The folk tale method above might increase your chances a couple percent, but if you have already had several female children by that man, chances are even with that method you will probably have another female.
However you might want to make sure he isn't doing something to increase the chances of female children, make sure he doesn't wear tight jeans, underwear, fly fighter jets, sit in hot tubs for hours... etc. But even if there is a problem and its corrected, your still looking at 50-50 odds at best.

I know that sometimes parents wish for a certain sex when they have a child. For a number of reasons....
Please every body who can conceive a child be grateful that you can bring life into this world. There are a large number of people who for one reason or another cannot produce children who I am sure would be grateful for either a boy or a girl child that they could call their own. Be grateful and not disappointed if the sex of a child is not the one that you desire..

in my opinion its very difficult to know if you can have a boy or a girl it all depend on your partner's side. If the sperm contains baby boy or girl so it all depend on the man.

I think there is an experimental procedure in artificial insemination or something like that where you can choose the sex of the baby but don't quote me on it...you'd have to ask a doctor! (in fact why haven't you?!?!?!)

There is a way to do that. But you would have to pay for it. I saw it on the news. It is healthy.
