I know a great experiment. Try to find out if the avatars of people are related to the actual picture of the people and find out the psyschology of those whose avatars are way out etc.

These used to be fun in college! Here are some ideas:
1. Are guys more likely to over or under exagerate their sexual history if a pretty girl is conducting the survey? Or an adult? Devise a simple sexual experience survey and have a pretty girl give it to 50 guys and have a guy give it to 50 guys. Is there a statistically significant difference in the answers between the two groups?
2. Which is more effective, positive or negative reinforcement? Divise some type of test - trivia, memorization, IQ etcetera. Individually give them one question at a time. For one group, encourage them with comments like "good job", "wow, you're smart", etc. after each question. For the other, say things like "nope", "wrong again", "I can't believe you missed that one", etc. after each question. Compare results between groups.
3. Are people more honest when they are anonymous or when they are not anonymous? Ask one group questions in person and have another group fill out a questionairre anonymousely. Compare. Or, have the same people take an anonymous questionairre, then ask them similar questions in person to see if you get the same answers.
4. Does dress affect how people behave? Take a group and have some wear casual clothes and some business clothes. Have them work in groups to brinstorm ideas, solve problems, compete on some project or whatever. Watch and see if those "dressed for success" take a more active or dominant role.
Just a few off the top of my head.. you get the idea; have fun with it.

what effect has the internet had on our ability to reason. Has the sheer availability of information had any psychological effect on our social attitudes? The internet is a very hot topic in psychology right now. And the easiest way to research this is to use diverse age group samples and use a experimenter to subject questionarre style interview.

A good research title or topic is one that captures your interest.
I suggest you make a list of variables that can be manipulated.
One or more of these variables may be your independent variable.
After choosing them, find out what other variables may be influenced by the ones you have chosen.
Look into research abstracts, find out what topics or titles are not given much attention by researchers or what areas need more concrete research. Look into the possibility of a pioneering research.

I would propose a kind of research that interests you. If you are interested in youth issues then consider a research experiement about young people you might like to try something like:
a qualitive research on the effects of homelessness on adolescent health.
Your hypothesis might be:
Homeless adolescents are subject to greater permanent health risks than non-homeless youth.
if your interests lie with companion animals you may choose a research experiement that explores the benefits of companion pets to the elderly, disabled, or people in general.
A suggested hyposthesis might be:
companion dogs promote better health in children.
The important thing is to make it something you are particularly interested in as that will inspire you to complete your assignment

This is the perfect question for me to answer thank you. I am kind of a studier of psychology and have probed many different theories. The one that interests me the most is the human mind. So my title would be "The Human Mind Can it be Explained?" Is that not an interesting question and/or theory? Good luck in your future endeavors.

There are many experiments in prisons to rehabilitate prisoners. Some of the more creative and successful have them planting gardens or raising guide dogs. What is it about the responsibility to something other than yourself that changes you? Is it creating something? Having a direction in your life? Why do these simple things work when programs that cost thousands of dollars fail miserably?

is this for a thesis or just for the subject? If it is just for the subject, why not use effect of font color on memory or like what I did last year, effect of color on appetite. You can use different colors on the first option and then let them read the words and then let them list it down afterwards to test if they had remembered more on what font color.
Color on appetite, dye bread or cakes of small servings and then let them eat as much as they want, then list the amount of food they'd consume. Then you can see how much the color (eg. red) stimulated or decreased their appetite.
If its a thesis, why not try effects of dance revolution (game) on ADHD. It can be an laternative for the use of Ritalin.
Good Luck!

Racism is it increasing or decreasing in American society, African Americans has seen a decrease in racism but other minorities such as Mexicans have seen an increase in racism, and what are the useful purpose for racism if they were none then racism would have been stamped out by now.
