Besides the horrible flood that happened in 2005, there were other things that happened that people will remember forever.

Over 25 babies were born and brought hope to their parents.

Several beautiful women received proposals for marriage and embarked on a lifetime of love.

Many people died which ended their suffering from disease and left their relatives filled with their memories.

Miracles happened all over this region everyday. But, because of the flood waters, people recorded these events in their hearts as signs of hope.

We noticed the stray dog that found a safe spot above the raging water...before we would have shunned him. We marveled at the heroics of survivors and rescuers.

Those are the events we will remember forever and draw upon their strength whenever we face disaster in the future.

People on the roads were stuck on the roads. life came to a standstill for hours. took a few days for the city to recover from the extreme downpour.
