I do agree. I think tht Americans use their brute force to do their own bidding. We pretty much get what we want as a country because we can militarily back ourselves up. The other thing is that we do impose our beliefs on other nations. We believe that our methods of government and justice should be brought all over the world. We as a people have a tendancy to believe that if there is a king or monarch, they are oppressing the people. That isn't always so. I do believe that there are some corrupt governments, but look at our own. Even our form of demoracy has its flaws. Change of government in another country needs to be at a steady pace or the people won't accept it completely. The problem with using force is that it is easier to make enemies rather than allies. No country could ever withstand making an enemy out of the world.

No I do not agree. Countries are continually asking for our help. We seem to be the worlds babysitter. When things go awry we are the bad guys who impose our morality in "arm twisting methods". If countries want our help then they should understand things will be done by our standards. I am tired of hearing about how evil we are as a country. Yet people keeping coming here by the boat loads. This country has its faults but at least we are allowed to speak freely of what we think/feel without being stoned to death or having our mothers and/or sisters raped for "placing shame on the family"... That's arm twisting methods right there-with no morality.

You are not going to get a 100 word explanation on this site, but I do agree. I read an article in the news paper the other day that reported other countries view the U.S. as a bigger threat to world peace than North Korea and Iraq!!
