Sure, but you'd have to have a HECK of a marksman to set the shot up for you at the right trajectory so you could catch it. The maximum range of every firearm is different so that's the first thing you'd need to find out. For instance, the max range of the
M-16 A-2 rifle is 2653 meters. To pull this off, you'd need to position yourself over 2.5 kilometers away from whomever was firing the weapon.

In conclusion, is it possible? Yes
Would it be easy? HECK no!

With all the variables, type of weapon, muzzle velocity, wind speed wind direction humidity barometric pressure, you would have to either be Superman and Flash Gordon or two of the top Marine Corps Snipers! i think its definately worth a try! I mean its every guys dream to be able to catch a bullet! if a few people have to die whilst testing out the method, then so be it, its for the good of mankind,
