Hi there, you will be thrilled, it is a really great country. As far as shopping, Prague has a lot of Malls and stores, look for Czech shoes at the store "Bata", look for crystal glass, look for typical food you are going to fall in love with, look for history...transportation in Prague relies on trams, busses and metro. Use it, it is the cheapest and fastest way to get to places, it is clean and well maintained. The only thing you HAVE TO be careful of is KEEP YOUR MONEY AND DOCUMENTS SAFE!!!! There are thousands of little shoplifters, thieves, who can be quick and well organized. Never look in your walllet to check how much money you have left in metro or a tram/trolley. Other than that you will be very happy to be there.
