Yep. Great performances, and a very unblinking look at a man who comes across as not actually being that likeable or pleasant. For me the movie was overshadowed by the portrayal of Harper Lee, whose life I'd now like to know a great deal more about.

I have seen it and I have also seen In Cold Blood. I don't understand why Capote won academy awards this year, even the best actor. I could hardly understand anything 'Capote' said during the whole movie by the way he talked. When I did hear it, I thought he was a liar to those prisoners. Maybe I just didn't get it, but I do know you could hardly understand the whiny way the star (can't remember his name) talked. BTW, I liked the movie In Cold Blood, even though it is very old. It was scary to know it was based on a true story.

Yes, and it's not gay at all. Capote was flaming, but that's not what the movie is about. It's about an alcoholic genius who's writing a book about a depraved killer. That guy deserved his Oscar.
