Allan Greenspan........although he is retired, his views and actions have influenced the financial world for many years. Because of this influence he has had in the past, his views are still sought after.
He has been the most influential by controlling intrest rates and hence effecting more personal lives then anyone else I can think of. Good or bad, his decisions have effected everyone in some way.

I think the most influential person is Bill Gates, not only for his achievement as a business success but because of his philanthropic organization, helping millions of people by fighting deseases.

I definately have to agree with others and say Bill Gates. Here's why: Mr. Bill has created something so amazing and vast - it baffles me that it all works together. I feel as if he deserves every penny he's made. His shrewd business practices though have brought him in front of world governments to answer to alleged anti-trust violations. Because of his product though, he employs hundreds if not thousands of people. Also, practically everyone uses Windows products in their day to day lives. Close to all businesses use his products as well - and use those tools to develop their own businesses and also employ even more people. Worldwide influence for sure.

God, He changes lives, creates love and anger, is debated over more than any other person I have ever heard or known of. Is the cause for war and for peace, life and death. Plus just look at all the questions everyday on this site and many others... he is discussed everywhere and in every fashion.
