Any small square of four numbers totals 20

2006-06-27 23:19:09 · answer #1 · answered by Trish J 3 · 4 0

Trish is right if you add all 4 nos vertically
lie 6+7+4+3 = 20 and so on
but
if you add app the 4 nos. horizonatally
like 6+2+7+4 = 19
for the succeeding column
7+5+6+3 = 21
and the pattern is 19,21,19,21,19

the total result if you add up the last nos.
24,29,22,25,25

for the first column deduct 24-19 = 5
next 29-21 = 8
next 22-19 = 3
next 25-21=4
and lastly 25-19= 6

in first column first number s 6 and last number s 7 ,
next column 1st number s 2 and last s 1
so in last column according to the series the 1st number 5 so the last bnumber must b 6

the answer is 6 because if you see the numbers vertically and only the 1,3 and the 5th row you will find that the numbars are in series behind each other like the 1st vertical column the no. are 5,6,7 in series therefore the answer to your question is 6.

I don't think the answers is 6
nowl et's look at all row results
27,21,28,23,?
you look the first, third is sequence, so the last number probably 29
as you wrote 5+8+3+4+?=29
so ? is 9
